Warm your Winter – Check Us Out!

The Berkshire Free Library has been a part of this community for 100 years!    We would like to thank our local business community, such as Tioga Hardwoods and SweeTrees, that continue to support us in these difficult times.  Thanks to the individuals that have  supported us so far in this year’s fundraiser.      The Library is working with Family Resource Center, Cornell Cooperative Extension, Tioga Rural Ministries, WIOC who helps with employment, to try and make these times a little easier for our community.

        Our Library building hours are Noon – 5PM, Tuesday through Friday and Saturday 9 AM – 2 PM.   Every precaution is being taken to keep you safe while you are here.  Our books are quarantined between use, masks and social distant are being observed so;

Come for a fun kit to make a snowflake or feed the birds!

Come in and see our display of our 100 years.

Come in and let us help you connect with your family or friends over ZOOM.

Come in and borrow a book that will take your mind off of some of the current problems.

 If you don’t feel comfortable coming into the Library call and we will meet you at the car with books.

We are very proud to have survived our first 100 years, just think what we will be like after another 100 more years!
