Subscriptions to the Binghamton Press & Sun Bulletin and the Ithaca Journal have been made possible through a grant from the Friends of Tompkins County Public Library.  Which subscription will be continued will depend on our readers’ preference.

The Friends of the Tompkins County Public Library, founded in 1946, is a not-for-profit membership organization for people interested in books and libraries. Its purpose is to stimulate public interest in the library, purchase library materials, and support other cultural and educational programs in Tompkins County. Substantial funding has been given to TCPL and the Finger Lakes Library System, providing much needed assistance to both organizations in meeting their service goals.  Funding is now available from the Friends in the form of grants to help local libraries and reading rooms in the Finger Lakes region.   www.friendsoftcpl.org

The goals of the Friends of TCPL are accomplished by the distribution of funds raised during  twice-yearly book sales. Visit the Book Sale site @ www.booksale.org.
