2025 Berkshire Free Library Fundraiser

This year has been a time of great change. It has brought with it many financial challenges for nonprofit organizations such as our library. Public libraries are one of the institutions that assures its residents of a place where they can find the many resources they need regardless of social or economic status. It provides services for all ages starting with preschool programs, school children, busy working people who need an audio book, to the elderly who may need large print books.

Our Berkshire Free Library tries very hard to meet the needs of our community. The programs we currently have we would like to keep in place and continue throughout the 2025-2026 year.  We are very fortunate that many people in our community donate their time and effort in many ways to our community. We especially appreciate the support from the Patch family, the local businesses, and enthusiastic volunteers that help us with the Blueberry and Book Festival and the many other activities throughout the year.  Small communities like ours are a great place to live!

Since not everyone is able to monetarily help support our library, this is the time of the year when we ask those who can help to do so. Your past donations have helped keep our library the busy hub it is in the Berkshire and Richford area, and we thank you very much for that.

As in the past, there are several ways you can donate:

You can send a check made out to:

Berkshire Free Library to PO Box 151, Berkshire, NY 13736.

If you choose, you can make an electronic donation by clicking here.

Your credit card donation will go directly to our library account, and you will receive a confirmation and a thank you for your donation.

No matter how you donate, know that your generosity is immensely important and appreciated by the Berkshire library patrons and our communities.

We thank you in advance for your support!
