New Ramp Construction

Work is planned to begin on the library’s new handicapped accessible ramp the week of September 26.   During the construction time, library users will be asked to use the main library door facing Route 38.  If you are unable to use the stairs at this door, please call the library during open hours to arrange assistance or delivery of borrowed items.

The work will include a new larger covered landing and a new sidewalk from the parking area.  Funding for the project has been obtained from the Tioga County Senior Citizens Foundation, the library’s Patch family trust fund, and a matching NYS Library Construction Grant.
